I literally talked about her story quest to my therapist because I had therapy the day after patch update! And she confirmed that a lot of what Mizuki talks about in it is correct (if a bit simplified for sake of time/conciseness)!

I resonated with so many parts of this quest. She doing therapy to me, the player. Genshin can still pull out bangers if they really want to.

I enjoyed her story quest tbh because:
1. there wasn't too much yapping
2. the nightmare looks a shit ton like ronova for some reason
3. no overused trope of "the guy you trusted all this time is the bad guy!"
4. the cutscene and the sitting on the branch
5. dialogue animations are getting better
6. hoyo seems to be leaning into life and death, fate, the traveler's advantages of being a descender, leylines and dreams. Is something big gonna happen?

Yep, a very good SQ indeed, maybe even of the best so far. I usually like SQs, even the ones that aren't hyperfocused on the character they're supposed to be about as long as the story itself is interesting, but having both a good story AND a focus on the character (+ not to mention all the unusual stuff they went out of their way to put in this one) is simply great

I unironically loved this quest so much. I went in having the games background music and dialogue on bc she's a new character and even tho I expected it to be boring and basic and just weird gooner bait (cuz her burst made me extremely skeptical) but instead I got really invested and I actually love her character now.
The first thing that stuck out to me was her voice, I expected her to have a higher kind of voice like kokomi or xiangling bc yk gooners but her lower register actually makes her sound way more soothing. Second, her design is absolutely stunning, I love all of the colors they chose and they made her look so cute and beautiful she is very aesthetically pleasing. Her expressions definitely caught my eye as well, I loved how fluid and expressive they made her during the entire quests, they even had a scene where she was crying, and her whole therapy session thing was so fun and really showed her personality. I felt immersed and ended up playing through the entire quest without turning on my music and skipping through all the dialogue cuz I was ACTUALLY interested. And the cutscene at the end was just beautiful tbh, the animation and the fluidity and the way it ended it felt so cozy. Of course they had to have the aether/lumine x female character hints in there for fan service which I don't really like but honestly it wasn't even that bad. I had to get some photos of me and her sitting on that tree branch, I'm gonna keep those in my downloads forever. But yeah overall really nice and refreshing, I loved the experience and character 10/10 would play again

Not gonna lie, her Story Quest Is a new experience for me
Reason Is that I got to play a mechanic that I haven't played (like you can even choose whether to open or close your eyes)
Honestly, It looks like Mihoyo Is Implementing new mechanics to the game
