1- start in head voice / falsetto, NOT in chest
2- shift your resonance forward to your nose (twang)
3- add vocal chords closure by engaging your CRY tone
with these 3 engaged at the same time, you should be able to sing in a powerful mixed voice!
remember that vowel modifications can help keep the resonance placement at the right position, raising your soft palate will help not sounding overly nasal and exercises like the squeaky door can do the same that cry does

Omg leio!!! Im picking up little pieces at a time and I was able to put my head voice resonance to the front and just noticing that is amazing!! I’ve never thought of putting my head resonance to the front!!! It sounded so cool!! Now I gotta figure out the crying wah. But it’s neat that I felt and heard the resonance at the front in head voice for the first time!! Finally cracking that ceiling!!! You are God sent!!

Man, the explanation is all correct, but the CT muscle is ALWAYS engaged in the voice, you cannot disengage the CT, its the muscles that pull your thyroid cartilage down to regulate pitch.
I agree on everything else, as you need 100% interarytenoids contraction on falsetto to get the whiney Im Saaaad sound. And thats the most important group for high note free and efficient singing

Hi Leo sir I am a huge fan of yours 😊 I particularly don't sing a lot ofhard rock sort of stuff although i really like it but my intrest lie mostly in Bruno Mars and the Weeknd sort of vocals without trying to use falsetto much all your videos are blessings . I see how that can work for a dramatic rock song, but the Crying sound is only one type of sound. It's not necessarily always appropriate for the tone/interpretation of the song.
