Perhaps in a salad. Or something that you may normally want salt on. Definitely with something sweet like real grapes. The sweet and salty is a killer combo. I made some pickled grapes, and they are awesome. I didn't do all the heating and pickling salts. I just saved the juice from a large jar of dill pickles. Plucked the grapes into the jar and at about a week and a half to two weeks. The sweet and sour is great. It's not as overpowering, sweet, as some gherkins, of course. It's more like a sweet grape with a subtle pickled flavor. I'm waiting for 3 weeks to see if there is a balance point. I'm gonna do some other veggies. While Okra pods are pretty good, I get them, store bought carrots cut length wise, are my next one to give a toss into the jar.

Rinse a few times to wash out extra salt content. Then add garlic, sesame oil, soy sauce, sugar and vinegar. Sea grapes salad.
