My Irish mother taught me how to cook starting at 5 years old. I watched/helped for 8 years before I made dinner for 9 people all by myself. Turned out great and my mother was complimented on how good it was. My mother corrected them and you should have seen the jaws drop. I could cook circles around some chefs I know.

So irrational - they get custom because of her, are grateful, yet want her to stop. Like two conflicting positions colliding - and causing offense to all parties in the end. So weird. I guess that is the nature of all prejudice. Irrational and a sign of instability in the mind.
