There are many errors in the Koran regarding Christian beliefs and practices. For example, the Qur'an misinterprets the Christian doctrine of the Trinity. Muhammad believed that Christians worshiped three gods: the Father, the Mother (Mary), and the Son (Jesus) (Sura 5:116).
The Arabic text of the Qur'an condemns those who claim that "Allah is the third of three", that is, that Allah is only one of three gods! However, many Muslim scholars mistranslate Surah 5:73, giving it the following meaning: "those who speak against God who say that God is one of three in the Trinity." The Arabic text does not contain the words "in the Trinity"!
If Muhammad was a prophet of the same God as Jesus, why did such a contradiction and confusion arise in that Word of God about the Holy Trinity revealed by the same God in the Bible?
This error about the Holy Trinity in the Qur'an has led to more errors about the nature, personality and mission of Jesus Christ. It seems to Muslims that if God begat a son, then there must have been intercourse before it. This is a purely physical representation of God, Christians have always understood that the eternal birth of the Son from the Father St. In the Trinity there is a mysterious ascension, only analogically described in words from human life. The word "only" does not refer to a physical appearance, but to a special divine relationship with the Father.
