Same with the L046 Pleco, apparently they’re building a damn in its natural habitat so it’s now listed grade 2 but numbers in captivity are obviously growing and growing.

I’m not sure conservation was the reason. Profit is the reason. In general, we humans feel zero when animals go extinct. It must be true because we humans have caused so many extinctions. Only personal gain truly motivates us.

mine all got an illness and passed even when the rest of my fish in the community tank were fine : ( they developed white patches on their sides and dropsy and crooked spines
