Same way I cheesed him in the beta as a sorc... just ran around a pillar with a hydra just nuking him the entire time lol.

finally met him at level 55 or so. Took him out but only because I found a shrine lol. Would have been close otherwise, was very unprepared.

Ran into him twice between level 25 and 27. I was like "nope"! I ran outta the dungeon asap. Good job!

I had a traumatic experience with this when I was leveling my Necro. But once I got into a nightmare level and start getting the right gear and enhancement it reversed the situation. I'm killing this SOB without even running with the infinimist spec face-to-face fight with blood mist and bone storm rotating and exploding corpse with miasma. And I welcome it especially since thrash mobs are joining it means more explosions.

Pillars like that are your best friend😎 or something similar where he can chase you around. If I'm able to find one like that. I'll have him follow me back to a pillar, hole in the ground/pit, and use the sorcerer to attack from a distance. Sometimes, he gets stuck in one place and that makes it bette

Had to do the same thing on a level 24 sorc using all fire skills. Took me 4 months to beat him.

He finally showed up for me in nightmare dungeon solo at 59 on WT3. He was quite annoying and mostly ignored all my necro pets including my taunting golem but took him down after a lot of juking and jiving while my mage skelies killed him.

The Butcher is going to ruin a lot of Hardcore players days. Encountered him twice during the first two betas. He made me his bitch the first time, the second time I got him though.
Honest5ly, how many times do I have to kill this guy across multiple games before he becomes irrelevant, lol!?

Yeahhhh thankfully i was running Hydra at the time and just kited him around till he died, but the butcher is one spicy boy here compared to his D3 appearance 😂

I had one encounter and of course I was not ready with the build. I ran away, lol. He kept chasing until he disappeared. I didn't go through a checkpoint or anything. I just knew I would die and didn't want to break my armor wanted to finish the dungeon. I want to beat him though to get a Legendary.

Man idk about anyone else I played for a couple hours today lvl 62 rogue now. Ran into the butcher 3 times. Killed him every time very low difficulty didn’t even need a potion. But damn when I ran into him when I was a lvl 23 it looked very similar to this guys encounter😂

Every time I encounter him he always stuns me left and right and uses his damn yell and hook for no reason even tho I’m like right on him
