Donāt add detergent to the cleaning cycle. Itās not made to clean the machine, just clothes, and itāll leave another layer of grime when the machine is supposed to be getting a reset. Just the machine cleaning tablet will get the job done perfectly.

I agree with everyone saying donāt use detergent, itās kinda like cleaning your bathtub with shampoo. You donāt have to use the cleaning tablets if you donāt have any use some baking soda and vinegar.

I have a front loader, I only have to put the cleaning program on, sometimes with a special cleaning solution, if I have the feeling it needs it.
I can pull out the small departement for laundry detergent and wash it under the sink and the rim of the drum is easy cleaned with a cloth, I do that several times a month

My huaband does appliance repair and he has to have that steam cleaner. Dont forget to run citric acid into a cleaning cycle. Cheaper than those washer cleaners.š

You should run a cleaning cycle at least once a month with very hot water and maybe a tiny bit of vinegar cleaner.

I live in a 700 unit+ apartment complex. That is pet froendly. Fabric softener, those smell good beads and powder detergent CAUSE THE NASTY GUNK. Well, that and "high efficiency" machines which translate to "not enough h20 to wash and rinse properly". More chemicals, more problems. Keep it simple. Water cleans better than adding a bunch of gunky "smell good" sludge.

Hi! I have the same washer. Have you ever thought about removing what they call the āplateā on the bottom to clean underneath? Iāve watched a few videos on how to do it, Iām nervous I might break something.

did you know your washer has a dedicated clean washer cycle? please don't use normal. it uses way too little water for a proper tub clean

There is usualy (at least nowadays) a setting where it cleans itself... i think i have a maytag and it has a clean tub button and asks if we want to every 3-5 loads depending on the amount of laundry, it isnāt a top facing washer though, so there might be a difference
