Honestly I like that every big what if feels like an actual story, most community what ifs kinda take the paths with the original story in mind but these feel like if they were written originally instead of written in contrast

I do enjoy how they made the stories make a little more sense, or added story to characters that desperately needed it. Like Gohan and Trunks. It was beautiful to see Trunks bond with Vegeta more and or Trunks get over his trauma with 17 and 18.

I won’t say the majority but the way they portrayed adult Gohan in the Super arcs were by far better then what the anime and manga did

I’m sorry but for some reason I just have this nagging feeling like ive seen some of these what ifs on a YouTube video before. Idk if it was from carthu, broku, salad saiyan, or smugstick. But the gohan black and goku saiyan saga ones just stand out in my head that I’ve seen it somewhere.

Toriyama wasn't a great writer. After a while you can tell he was just doing random shit rather than anything that flowed together.

Not just that, they have years of hindsight for some things where the what if's are better than the original and should've been the actual thing
