I think too many, if not most products, have huge design flaws. It’s kind of insane.

No. People will not be buying fewer bags of higher quality. When money in scare people stop buying stuff they don’t need and buy cheaper versions of things they do need.
Your estimation is that people will buy fewer bags but spend more on each bag. You show a lot of $300 bags with hundreds of dollars of accessories inside that bag to make it more functional.
I think people will sit tight with the bags they already have or buy a $100 bag that doesn’t need gimmick add on purchases for compartmentalization.
We just went through this in 2020. If the economists are right and a recession hits in 2023 hobbies like collecting bags will take a hit (again).

Hey Roland I’m watching this in September and this is one observation that was missed in your prediction. People are buying more quality bags but they are rejecting the higher prices. This year I see people looking for alternatives to the existing brands, smaller bagmakers and business owners, and going the custom route.
