There's a bow shop near me called saluda river Archery. Iv heard so many bad stories about them and I've also had a bad experience.
A guy I know came into the shop and they told him they had new bowtechs in to see how he likes them so they try to add a peep sight in with him drawing the bow back. D loop breaks and explodes the bow. They then try to force him to buy the bow blaming him .........then talk junk about him to other shop owners and people at tac.
When I first was getting into archery I bought a recurve from them but they didn't have feathered arrows so i took the bow and went to bass pro. They fixed me up and had an awesome experience. Went back to saluda river Archery few days later and was ignored several time when I was there first to set me up with a arrow rest and beaver tails. 3 shots in the arrow rest went flying and later beaver tails was coming loss I told them about it and the fixed me back up. After receiving my bill they charged me labor and for 2 arrow rest even though they set it up wrong.
