I am a Filipina born and raised in the USA. My caucasian husband of 10+ years still tells me heā€™s so lucky he met me. Heā€™s never dated anyone like me before and he said he never thought heā€™d ever find someone who would truly take marital vows seriously. My love language is acts of service so cooking for him and bringing him drinks are part of my daily life. When he got into an accident and was bedridden for months, I took care of him in every way while working a full time job. I bathed him, changed his bandages, dressed him, even feed him while I worked and took care of the household. When he got better I still helped him with bathing to make sure there were no accidents in the bathtub. My parents were strict and affectionate towards me but my dad was an asshole to my mother. Watching my parentā€™s turbulent relationship taught me to choose wisely and to cherish my partner when I find the right one. Iā€™m both ā€œtrad wifeā€ and breadwinner ever since his health diminished but I donā€™t resent him at all. Heā€™s my best friend and the love of my life. I pray we are healthy enough to make it to our 90s together.

My Filipina is from the province and I couldnā€™t be happier!
About my only complaint is, sheā€™s trying to make me fat by overfeeding me šŸ˜‚

Nah if sheā€™s broke; the province girl is a headache too

I chatted one up for 8 weeks, then once she thought she had me locked down, the conversation turned to NOTHING but complaining sessions hoping the white knight would send money.

I told her you need to find a new man or a new job, I made it clear she wasnā€™t my wife and itā€™s ridiculous to pay a gf.

I live in Manila and dated both city and province girls, and talked to 100s on the dating sites and met up with several over the years. My 2 long term gfs were one of each. The province girl in general was more loving and into me and our future. The city girl was into me and had more interesting things to talk about, but her career and personal interests were as important to her as I was. She was trying to juggle me and her independence. More power to her, but I'm going back to looking for a province girl to marry. I've met several and been on many first dates, and this is my general opinion.

i'm a city girl who grew up in the suburbs...am not into clubbing...and its still best to hang out with a girl who have a job and earn her own money...she can go on dates with you on weekends. Province girls who have so much time on their hands have multiple fb accounts, have nembership on multiple online dating sites and do content creation with multiple male audience...so yes they will have all their time for you šŸ˜… ...i think she's referring to bar girls and not city girls with 9-5 jobs they are two different types of filipin

Pure my arse. That's a very broad generalization.

I don't usually comment on fb reels, but you cannot generalize the traits of every girl in the city as well as those in the provinces, as the same. It all depends in one's moral values.

Her comment does not justify the difference between city girls and province girls.
I am a city girl. Educated from elementary to college in a private institutions.
My parents instilled values such as hard work, honesty, integrity, Self sufficiency

Since you spoke the truth, here's my take on girls who were reported by their husbands to Raffy Tulfo because their girlfriends or wives have manipulated them, took their money and in some cases abandoned their husbands when there bank accounts had exhausted.
Girls who work in the mall for 8 hours are commendable. This lady seem to imply that province girls have more time. Where do they get the luxury of having free time? Do they work? I could address a lot and most likely my response would be in disagreement.

This is a gross generalization of ā€œcity girlsā€ in the Philippines! Most of the women in the cities, especially NCR/Metro Manila are educated and have careers. They avoid the clubs and attend activities instead (e.g., indoor golf, axe throwing, live music, etc). These women have strong family values and come from good families.

I do not agree what this Fil.said about City Girls. Not everybody who grew in the city are the same going to clubs and have night lifes. It is good to marry a working lady bec.she earns her own money.

Local shares the truth? No! Local shares her opinion.

Iā€™m not sure where my girl falls into this here. Sheā€™s from the province, but now lives in the city and clubs. But she seems to juggle her independent nature and more traditional lifestyle pretty well. She actually told me today, that she doesnā€™t actually like to club anymore. Sheā€™s been slowing way down on that stuff. But I worry that her friends rope her into that lifestyle further. Idk. So much more to know, shes still an amazing woman so far. And Iā€™m hoping it goes far

Yes, of course Vietnam gives visa up to one year. A regular tourist visa is 30 days. A business visa ( that anyone can get) is 1 year
