Masha'Allah, Rumzi is right that Allah’s love in Islam depends on doing good and having faith. This shows that Allah’s mercy and rewards are fair. He loves those who do good and believe. The Quran says Allah does not love those who do wrong (see Quran 2:190, 5:64). This kind of love shows Allah’s wisdom and fairness, making people responsible for their actions. If Allah’s love included everyone, even Satan, like the Christian said, it would go against the idea of moral responsibility, which leads to rewards or punishments in the afterlife. Imam Ali in Nahjul Balagha and the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) also say that to get Allah’s love, you must be sincere, follow Allah’s commands, and submit to Him. This unconditional love-god they talk about is a relatively recent phenomenon anyway, just a couple centuries back Christian’s never asserted this idea. But we already know they love updating their religion regularly.
