This temple in rural Kerala houses a giant footprint of God Shiva, which has transformed into a large, permanent pond shaped like a footprint. Even during the summer, this pond miraculously retains water. The ancient temple also features a samadhi positioned in front of a massive, elephant-shaped rock. The identity of the individual in the samadhi remains a mystery, possibly an ancient Siddha or the temple's founder. During renovations, the temple authorities excavated numerous scriptures and sculptures belonging to the previous, ancient temple.
Sixty years ago, villagers found this old Shiva linga and the remains of an old temple up on a forested hill. Unlike most temples, this one faces west. The temple radiates positive energy, which you can feel upon entering the compound with good intentions. This unique temple is situated near Thiruvallur in Kozhikode District, Kerala, India. and this temple's name is Sree Bavuppara Shiva Temple. Har Har Mahadev
