This was the first time in my 65 years that I had ever heard of this festival. Mind I would've only be 11 at the time. I have seen 7 good festivals in my life and now I'm jealous, what an incredible lineup.

This was Hendrix ' last concert. It's rumored he did an impromptu jam at Ronnie Scott's in London after but this was his last paying gig. The festival was Aug 26-31. Jimi died Sept 18.
