Here is some Resin Coasters made by a student during a Resin Art Workshop. One of the coasters was poured and left alone and the other had heat applied to remove the surface bubbles.

Too much heat or the more uses of the mould, will end up deteriorating the Silicone Rubber and causing it to stick to the resin once cured. You can notice this in the 2nd mould as the base has become white and there is no visible shine on the mould. This will generally end up causing the mould to rip or tear.

Whilst the mould can still be removed from the resin, as demonstrated, the resin also will not have any shine on the bottom surface that was touching the mould.

We recommend applying the Ease Release Silicone Release Spray to all mould surfaces after use, as this will help with the longevity of the mould, and should allow for additional uses. However, a mould like the 2nd one should no longer be in use as it is possible to still damage the next resin piece.
