This is bus 98 turning a corner full throttle with the regeneration going through its cycle. I got with the mechanics and we fixed the regen problem with our bus as you can tell from parts 0:06 to 0:17. The bus is whistling louder, sounds smoother, and pulling stronger in regen mode like its suppose to then in my last regen takeoff video, " • 2009 IC CE200 Maxxforce 7 BAD Regen t... ", Go check it out if you haven't already. We suspect that the engine is flooding the crankcase with diesel from the excessive regen cycles because the oil pressure is dropping and it has excessive crankcase pressure. We may not have this engine long in this bus because we're not putting the same engine back in, we're going with the Cummins ISB 6.7L which is the REPOWER replacement engine for the maxxforce 7. The maxxforce 7 has multiple problems in the regen system and the engine overall. Two of our buses have already had the Cummins Repower. I think my bus is next LOL! RIP the Maxxforce 7.
By the way this is a takeoff from somewhere in between 5 and 10 miles turning the corner to 50 miles
