I’m not really into this Vietnamese Hot Sauce that I recently bought so thought it might taste better if I mixed it up with other delicious ingredients to make Viet Honey Hot Wings…The Vietnamese Honey Hot Wing sauce was pretty tasty and the perfect sweet and spicy sauce for the crispy wings. To make the wings even crispier, I experimented and tossed some baking powder into the wings and it seem to help!

I BBQ’ed the chicken wings in the Traeger at 425 degrees for about 45 minutes, flipping halfway, and brushed the sauce on the wings with about 5 minutes left in the cooking process.

Chicken Ingredients:
4 pounds chicken wings
SPG Seasoning, lightly sprinkled
1 tablespoon baking powder
2 tablespoons oil

Vietnamese Honey Hot Wing Sauce Ingredients:
¼ cup unsalted butter
½ cup Chin Su Vietnamese hot sauce
⅓ cup honey
¼ cup ketchup
¼ cup Maggi seasoning or soy sauce
3 tablespoons rice vinegar
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon black pepper
