In this video, I’ll show you how I painted and designed my own beautiful Karwa Chauth poojan thali in our old traditional art - Aipan 🎨✨

Karwa Chauth is a special festival, and I wanted to make it even more memorable by creating a personalized thali for the rituals. Join me as I walk you through the step-by-step process of selecting the materials, choosing the color palette, and adding unique artistic touches to my pooja thali.

🔸 **Materials I Used**:
Metallic paints

Here’s how I did it:

Base Preparation: I started by applying a rich red background on the thali. Red is considered very auspicious in Aipan and is traditionally made from geru (natural red clay).

Intricate White Designs: Once the base was dry, I used a white pigment (traditionally rice paste is used) to create symmetrical patterns. Aipan art often includes sacred symbols like swastika, lotus, and intricate floral patterns. I carefully painted these patterns to cover the border and center of the thali.

Final Touches: After the main design was complete, I added a few fine details around the edges to give it a more festive feel. The balance of the white and red gave the thali a beautiful traditional look.

This project allowed me to reconnect with my heritage and express my creativity while preparing for this special festival.
