I like the warning tape being like a foot above the actual cable. That's a way better idea than finding spicy earth in the future by accident

Just two dudes playing Tonka and building forts to play in. Living the dream..... Great tip on the red caution tape and the beyond min code compliance.

Some 40 years ago I needed to run a water line through corrugated pipe. I taped a golf ball on the end so the pipe didn't catch.

Love the above and beyond minimum code. Most DIYers don't think they can do that.

I'm glad in your description you mention Ottawa. Thus I know you're talking our Canadian codes.

I mean this with all the respect in the world. You should have a Leatherman on your hip at all times. Mine has paid for itself time and time again.

I’d still sleeve the electrical cable in pvc.

Well I guess I’ll comment on that magnificent catch and throw! Great work.

I wouldn't use that cable the electrician suggested. Install a pvc raceway instead. My opinion as a sparky.

Built a sauna from Chinook Spa in Ottawa and it's doing great 15 years later. Interested to hear which cold plunge and shower system you go with, I'm looking to find one that will work year round with our weather!

Don't forget to include armored fiber for data for any structure installation. You'll like having it there later
