I use a hybrid of this and a synthetic scale I created that is made of two whole tone chromatic triads.

It's a great scale for giving a feeling of infinity, because the major third keeps it happy sounding, but there's no semitone taking it from the seventh into the octave, so it lacks that feeling of finality.
