I was discharged in 2008 with a host of issues. All they gave me in 2008 was 10% for tinnitus. The first 90 days of the PACT act I was finally give an aggregate 70% disability, plus 1 year of back pay.

It took me about 4 months to get a colonoscopy scheduled through the PACT act. It would have only taken a few weeks to get one at a VA hospital. But at the time I thought why drive 3 hours to the VA hospital when I can literally walk to my local hospital in 10 minuets. PACT act is sometimes worse than the VA.

The pact act is a dog and pony show, I know of a bunch of fellow brothers and sisters who got the bare minimum awarded to inflate the numbers so they can say look how much we got approved. For me I had to fight to see ENT to prove I had I had polyps otherwise 10% for rhinitis.

If you don't keep a log of the symptoms listed in the CFR or the minimum amount X-rays to warrant better than the minimum good luck with sinusitis, you're getting the bare minimum.

My CnP exam was a joke, the examiner told me she wasn't going to phyisclaly look at me it's just a check the box as this is presumptive filled out the DBQs based on what I told her my symptoms were and sent me out to xray. I didn't agree with the rhinitis decision and disputed it for inadequate CnP exam, now I'm max rhinitis and sinusitis.

My experience has been completely different. I filed in August with PACT Act claims and a decision was made within 4 months.

We should dub the pact act as the "pass act."

My paperwork went through no problem. 5 months tops. Having your paperwork and records in order helps.

The number of claims are just overwhelming for VBA employees. Blaming VA for the delays without understanding the sheer number of claims is disingenuous. We are required to work mandatory overtime. BURNOUT is real!

Itā€™s estimated that $20 billion could end homelessness in America. We gave $160 billion to Ukraine for a war that has nothing to do with us. Let that sink in for a minute.

Socialized medicine only works with closed borders. Health claims were historically low because the treatment sought was low. Men just suffered quietly like injured and broken men do. Today, veterans depend heavily on the system and even try to get multiple diagnoses to garner more payout. Thus, we now face what all socialized medicine faces in runaway costs and death panels to ration care. How do we stop paying full price for abbreviated services and generic pills? It is not possible with mandates and tax laws written by the tax farmers.
Single payer big gubmint socialism will exclude exactly the men who historically don't complain and spend on the squeaky wheels who constantly agitate and complain. This is the plan that takes us from big socialism straight into commutarianism. When all money from the rich has been redistributed, everything legit collapses. Duh!
Hurt soldiers are not to blame. Only recently has Marxist grievance culture been a part of basic training.
Either pay our soldiers enough so they can get private coverage or admit we are more commie than the "democratic socialists" we prop up to destroy for woke Jesus.
