Aqua Dolphin being a warrior is so strange. The other Neo Spacians have appropriate typings for what they are but Aqua Dolphin somehow isn't aqua or fish. And it being a warrior is actually what made it meta-relevant, so the decision to make it a warrior back in 2006 was such a lucky circumstance.

Neos as an archetype is an interesting beast because it's terrible but has some of the best cards in its archetype. Grand mole was the best removal card until Kaijus came around and then Rainbow Neos to this day is one of the best spinners in the game.

A weird thing about its hand rip effect is that it destroys the monster, so floating effects can be activated by it. I'm not sure if other hand rip effects destroy instead of discard.

I do enjoy when old cards suddenly become meta when the format changes enough. Like Vanity’s are old as hell but became super meta thanks to yugioh becoming super special summon heavy.

Crazy thing is that even if you don't pop a card, you still got to see your opponent's hand, which can sometimes be game winning on its own
