The ending of Game of Thrones could have been much more impactful if the Night King's story was given a stronger conclusion, considering how his character had been built up since the very first episode. His presence and the looming threat of the White Walkers were key elements throughout the series, even extending back to the House of the Dragon era. However, the way his story ended felt underwhelming, as he was defeated almost like a minor villain compared to Cersei.
In my version of the ending, the Night King's army would have won the Battle of Winterfell, forcing Daenerys and the main characters to escape and retreat to King's Landing to save their lives. This would have set the stage for a lesson to Cersei, who refused to send her army to support the fight against the dead. Her betrayal would come full circle when the remaining forces, including Daenerys, Jon, and the others, confront Cersei and defeat her at King’s Landing, taking the throne from the Lannisters.
After taking control of the city, the final battle would occur in King's Landing against the Night King's army. In this climactic fight, Arya, or another key character, could deliver the final blow to the Night King, putting an end to the undead threat once and for all. This would have given the Night King a more worthy ending, making the journey to defeat him more challenging and meaningful. It would also provide a satisfying conclusion for Daenerys and the others, who could have emerged victorious, having faced both the living and the dead in their pursuit to protect the realm.

Nahh it's not that bad because this scene had logic behind it. Not one but two logic or reason, whatever. First, Arya is related to death, meaning Faceless god and Second, when arya first met red witch she told her that Arya will kill brown, green and BLUE eyes. Here Blue eyes are referring to the Night king. So, this ending is not disappointing.
