4-5 potatoes, cut into chips
2 tsp salt
1 tsp turmeric
2 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp chilli flakes (rough red chilli)
0.5 tsp crushed cumin
4 tblsp chana flour (chickpea flour)
After frying:
Salt
Chilli powder
Lemon juice
Dry your fries thoroughly. Toss potatoes in the dry mix and fry in hot oil (175-180deg) for 10-13 minutes until done.
Once fried, drain and immediately sprinkle with some salt and chilli. Finish with a good squeeze of fresh lemon juice.
