I need to remake a hockey stick. So, I used a piece of Hard Maple Wood to replace the old worn-out hockey stick. I chose the wood, cut it to length, ripped it to the correct width, rounded the edges with a 1/4-inch round over bit, and sanded all surfaces with 120 grit sandpaper.
It was a perfect fit and should last many years.
