I for SURE did this as a kid and a teen. And my mum would always say āyouāre cold, why donāt you zip up your coat? Please zip up your coatā and Iād say āNO Iām NOT cold!ā Truthfully? I was freezing.

My best friend would do this all the time!! It's hilarious, it'll be like...-5 degrees and I'm over there with 2 scarves on and she's got her coat open because she coordinated it with her outfit and a zipped up coat would destroy the aesthetic i love her

To this day I still roll up the sleeves on my sweatshirt in the winter. Never wear a coat either. Northern MN is pleasant this way. You are never really outside long enough to warrant a jacket, and the second you get inside your arms are warming back up.

I still do that, unless it's very very VERY cold and windy. It hurts a lot to look this chic and I STAND BY IT

I did that. No complicated story to it. Sweating sucks, and most of the cold in Denmark is windchill rather than ambient temperature. Once you zip up, a decent coat will take you uncomfortably far past toasty pretty fast.

I also did this, I think for three reasons: 1. Having the coat unzipped was cold but zipping the coat was often somehow too warm. 2. The fit underneath. 3. Having the coat zipped always made me feel like the Michelin man
