I was diagnosed with lone arrhythmia due to a head injury back in 2009. I had some injuries to my neck from the fall, too, and as a result, both injuries led to a panic mode which led to the arrhythmia. For a while I was admitted to the hospital at least once, sometimes twice, a year. But since I started getting therapy for the panic and the anxiety, I haven't been in the hospital in the last 7 years, which has been fabulous. I'm on medication which I take, and it has helped tremendously. I'm taking diltiazem for the rhythm and losartan for benign blood pressure, and another for anxiety. Accurate information is so vital, I think, in helping a patient with the quality of life; we need that proper understanding, which is why I subscribed to your channel! It's a way of getting "walked home" by our doctor!😊

Thank you Dr Sanjay Gupta. You are really a people's doctor and you
are what our society, requires today.

Remember, when I took my late hubby for his check ups, I would always say a word or two, to the doctor's and they will be pissed off. Could be either, cos of the little knowledge I have or "you just listen to me".

Be blessed in all your humble deeds, to society.

I have these heart PVCs I’ve had two cardiac ablation‘s trying to correct it but still having them I try to explain this to my doctor I’m unable to work I’m unable to be normal because of the skip beats like 30 to 40% of my heart beats are skipped I don’t understand when I go to the ER. They are not more concerned. ?
Do you have any advice for me something I could say to my doctor or something?

Uncomfortable ....often. my 'electrical' tests were much like a lightening show and was described as such. No resolve or recommend was ever really made. Living with this most of my life/enlarged heart/A-Fib.

Arrhythmia in the medical field is a misnomer.

“Only for the duration”. Does that means less chance of stroke if the duration is short?
