To those worried about the dog's "aggressive" behaviour; don't panic! The dog is trying to initiate play with the cat in the same way it would another dog. A stance of front legs splayed and head low/parallel to the ground between bounding movements is common when dogs want to play. If you own a dog you'll have seen it behave the same way towards you when it's feeling energetic. The dog knows the kitten is young, too - the way the dog retreats when the kitten dashes in is how older dogs encourage pups to play.

0:37 I love that little half turn the kitten gives after they push it, like "Bruh, I got this, let me do my thing without you pushing me"

0:48 - I like how the kitten ran at the dog and the dog just went "oh so you big and bad then" 😂

Now, I'm no expert in doggy body language, but I'm pretty sure that "body flat" position seen several times (like 0:04) is universal for "I'm not a threat, I just want to play". Yes, the kitten was probably scared as hell which is unfortunate, but it looks way too young to understand complex body language signals of an animal ten times its size. And also, the dog recoils when the kitten goes for it (0:49).
You seriously think this is a training video or whatever? That dog wouldn't hurt a fucking fly.

If you think this is animal abuse, then you know nothing about dogs or cats, and you have absolutely no idea what real animal abuse is. The dog's barking is excited, he wants to play. The kitten may be a little scared, but it's smart enough to know that the dog can't reach him if he stays far enough back. Watch the cat closely, it even taunts the dog a few times. If the dog wanted to eat the kitten for a snack or something, it would be constantly plunging against the leash and snapping at air to try and reach the cat. the owners probably just leashed him because with it's size, it could easily hurt the cat without even trying.Watch here 0:19 the cat walks toward the dog of it's own accord. More rushes at it, and seemingly startles the dog.
