I habe a question, whenever I make chocolate chip cookies they’re always dense, thick but not GOOD thick, hard but chewy, has a werid taste and just doesn’t feel right. Where did I go wrong?

I like to start with the basic books and make them complex.
My cookbooks are well worn and full of notes in the margins. I Tape scraps of paper that have tips and alterations as well as notes written on the pages themselves.
