We were blown away by this hidden gem on the far east side of Tucson. Nestled in the Coronado National Forest and accessible via Redington Pass, this hike can be as easy or difficult as you'd like!
The lower falls trail is an easy 1.8 mile out-and-back and brings you to the 80-foot Tanque Verde Falls.
We opted for the more adventurous upper falls trail, which drops you at a popular beach area among calm pools of flowing crystal clear water. From here we scrambled down as far as we could to the top of the main waterfall. There's no marked trail and every corner feels like a new discovery.
