So much more work goes into the preparation of pours like this with weird live edge pieces. The hollow cookie slabs were not strong by any means and actually broke in half before I flattened them (which I anticipated) so I had to epoxy them back together. Then I used a wire brush and small file to get all the loose debris out of the inside and wrapped each piece in sheathing tape. Probably should've done a seal coat before this pour, but as you may have seen they turned out just fine 😉
