We used to form 20 & 30 foot high pours. You have obviously never done a big project like a power plant, or hospital building. And those are not "forms" those are boards nailed together to make something similar to forms. Have you ever heard of Symons steel-ply forms?

hopefully they isn’t any gaps with that method. when we used to pour houses or pretty much anything with big footing or walls we would pour the footings first then come back around like like you said but we always had small holes when we pulled the form.

This video is a lesson. Professionals build stuff correctly. Don't use amateurs.

Maybe if you used actual forms and supports you could. That isn’t professional concrete forming. We do 15 foot tall residential pours every couple weeks with ICF. While we do pour in lifts around perimeter it’s more to keep everything even not weight per se. you want whole structure to move up evenly so you don’t have 20,000 lbs on one side but we pour entire wall within a couple hours.

Because of weight and curing temperature the Hoover d*** was poured 6 yd² at a time.
Or was it 12. square yards
Point this, you can't pour too much concrete. Into one form because of both the weight and the fact that the line in the concrete generates a tremendous amount of heat when it reacts with the water.
Which is why you never put your foot into Wet concrete

Makes you wonder what they are actually doing here. Seen him poor basements with no problem.
