When my band Turn was experimenting with different speeds for songs, the three of us in the band were surprised that it was more difficult to play a song slower than normal. If you're in a band, maybe that will be a fun suggestion to your bandmates to try playing the songs in your set at different speeds at rehearsal. I think it helps you listen to your bandmates and shows that even at the slower speeds you can still be tight.
