Yes!! I’m not zero waste but I’m definitely trying to be less wasteful and more mindful of sustainability, and one of the first things I did was ditch makeup wipes and switch to reusable rounds and micellar water!

✨Just a tip for Acne Prone people! ✨

Coconut oil is comedogenic which means it often causes acne, a good and equally sustainable swap is micellar water that comes in recyclable glass or DIY your own. Rose water works just as well I find. There are TONS of recipes online so you can make your own if you can’t find it in stores in glass

Hope this helps prevent someone’s acne. It took me a long time to learn this 🩷

I use the cut up towel method, and I’m not going back lol. To get around the fraying issue I borrow asewing machine and sew around then overlock the edges as well. You can do even more to prevent fraying but I don’t mind it enough to put in that effort 😂

I’m not zero waste entirely, but one of my favorite purchases when it comes to make up is a cleansing balm in a glass jar and a “make up eraser” cloth I got from Walmart and every time it’s covered in my black eyeshadow. I throw it in the wash and it’s completely fine.

Careful with coconut oil I used I for a while but it gave me sties in my lash line and clogged my pores it got a lot better when I switched to cleansing balm instead 😅

this and safety razors are something i never thought about but they were soooo helpful. the most use i’ve gotten out of any reusable products. we will ignore how much i have shaved skin off w the razors though

Dollar tree also has a bunch of good options of reusable wipes! They're cheap and work amazingly, you can throw them in the wash or just hand wash them with any sort of soap

Cleansing oil/balm removes the need to even wipe anything 🫶🏻 I swear by it. Just remember to use any kind of face wash afterwar

The Makeup Eraser or similar product is INCREDIBLE! Use warm/hot water with this soft towel and the makeup comes right off!

Honestly coconut oil works better than any make up remover I’ve ever used and it leaves your skin so soft. Been using make up rounds for years and I don’t miss the alternatives

Why are the neutrogena wipes in the caption? Like it’s a product link??? Did YouTube do that or did you do that on accident?
