The problem is they're legalizing, harm reduction w out opening the doors and ways into rehabs and help. Other countries have legalization,but they funded REHABILITATION AND MENTAL HELP ETC BEFORE. That's why they don't have this happening.

In Germany there are consume rooms. There, they get help from social workers and doctors but also supplies and substitution drugs to consume safely. However, they get a dedicated room with supervision to consume. And they won't get it "to go". This is actually working.

I live in buffalo and honestly the only places that will help you find a job and housing is "the needle exchange". The county does nothing for its residents, if you have absolutely zero income and cant work theyll give you $350 a month which isnt even enough for a room yet alone an apartment. Theirs no opportunity unless you know the right people, theres a million empty apartments and houses but you cant find one ro live in if your life depends on it. They charhe $35 an application an apartment and they just keep raking in more and more money the more they create a housing shortage

Often times, people with addiction will blame everyone/thing else other than themselves for the drug use. Giving them safer ways to get high helps them live longer at the very least. Longer they live, longer time they have to kick the habit.
