It was actually discovered by Fritz Zwicky if I am not mistaken. Rubin just confirmed Zwicky's discovery.

Arvin does such a good job presenting and explaining these things. Best explanation of the existence of dark matter yet.

Apparently somebody is unaware of centripedal force. Aka "the whiplash effect". When I was like 10 in the mid 1960s, my friends and I had fun on bikes and skateboards linking in a line, going straight, then turning a corner. The last one in line would go flying. Also, playing on a merry-go-round, sit at the center and hardly move, hang off the edge and be flying until you can't hang on anymore and are flung off.
In other words, highly educated professional scientists figuring out child's play.

During the formation of the universe it must of touch a sub cosmos floor.
A magnetic moment caused by an external thing. A mega giga death ray created by coming into contact with something like a sub cosmos floor. And touching the sub cosmos floor picking up material that we call dark matter into our universe when we touched the sub cosmos floor.?

I get so impressed with the discoveries that have been made in astrophysics. Dark matter is definitely there. That is unless we postulate the existence of curved space time without the presence of matter and this postulate does not make a lot of sense. Einstein equated gravity with curved space time and the only way we know to make curved space time is with the presence of matter. This is again thanks to Albert Einstein.

We posit a phenomena to make an equation work, right. Are you sure this is correct? We get out of hand with this, incredibly complicated non-parsimonious ideas like string Theory or multiverses That are not falsifiable.

It is time that instead of postulating theoretical dark matter, we do so real life experiments to prove the existence - it is embarrassing that we still have no tangible real proof of dark matter - what is it?
