Part five of building two custom panels for the open baffle speaker project. Each panel will measure 100 x 55 x 6 cm, featuring a unique chaotic design, precise speaker cutouts, and a sturdy matching stand.

The 7 uniquely patterned edge-grain boards of walnut, maple, and padauk from part 4 are being carefully crosscut into dozens of individual pieces. After hours of prep work, reaching this stage feels quite rewarding. Definitely one of the more fun parts of the process is up next: assembling the two large, symmetrical panels in a chaotic, random pattern.

Last step before things get unwieldy :-).

Cutting through these thick hardwood boards was a breeze thanks to the ‪@Freudtools‬ saw blades from ‪@sautershop-channel‬ ! Highly recommend checking them out.
