I love that he did not dumb it down for Owen. Because even young kids very young kids have really big questions that we don’t have the answers to and I think that it’s OK to explore that and to discuss that with children. And, we can do that in a way that still provides security and stability to children.

Yes. He knows your prayers before u pray them.

God is. He is the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, Infinite, Eternal Wisdom. So, being something more than a “bring”, God is outside of time. So, the answer is simply “yes”. We attribute all-knowing to God. Can we know all things about all people at once if we were outside of time? Could our human minds handle such a thing? So, if God is capable of such things, then yes he knows all that we will choose even before we do. Look at the last moments of Jesus with His Apostles. He knew every occurrence before it happened. This is why we must trust Him and make the right choices. So why does God not change the outcomes? Because they already happened for Him and He sees what we cannot see, the trickledown effect of that present moment to that which will occur in the far future which we will never see in our brief moment of life in time on this Earth.

We are in some religions born as sinners. Now here is the greatest part... the lords prayer in translation of the living words of the song "Jesus loves me" for me as a little one belongs. He is strong! In adulthood joining the ranks of (for me), womanhood, motherhood, wife, grandmotherhood. Not repeating to my best God given potential the sins, and striving to lead peacefuly. Knowing that our world has much potential to be achieved. God willing alive. We must protect our rights. Amen

Yes. More of us should contemplate this in humility. Knowing is not the same as acting or determining. Perhaps God acts on his foreknowledge for our benefit, but that is to merely increase our freedom, as we are slaves to sin, often unknowingly. 😅

wow. I have always had this question and no protestant preacher or teacher has ever been able to give me a satisfactory answer. this is what ive been looking for. so thankful ive been in rcia and getting confirmed on Easter. pray for me!
