Here is a short video introducing Marcus Aurelius Antoninus. He was a Roman emperor from 161 to 180 and a Stoic philosopher. He is considered as one of the greatest Roman emperors of all time.

If you ask modern historians who was the greatest Roman emperor, a majority of them will say that I am the greatest Roman emperor. Since I was also a Stoic philosopher, I am not flattered by this and the word greatest does not exist in my vocabulary. I do not think that I was the greatest. I was just an ordinary man who tried to rule a very complex empire with wisdom, justice, and compassion. I tried to live a simple life, embracing reason and cultivating inner strength.
I tried to ensure that laws are applied equally to all citizens, regardless of social status. Maybe today politicians, judges, and people in power do not act like this. However, I tried to act according to Stoic philosophy principles. Despite facing numerous challenges, including wars on multiple fronts, I successfully expanded the Roman Empire's borders.
