Hagrid and Harry had plenty of work on their plates. Hagrid is one of Dumbledore’s closest companions, like Snape and McGonagle. Dumbledore had Hagrid doing something important to the plot during every year. In Half Blood Prince, the gang didn’t take his class anymore; that’s why he was around less. It didn’t make him less important to the gang or the story.

Calling it a "big problem" is not a good way to put it, as much as it is fair to say that Hagrid does not have much of a place in Harry's story as the books go on. I also agree that him not showing up as much the later the books go on is sad, but I think it shows that J.K. Rowling was telling Harry's story rather than the Story of Hogwarts and the rise and rebirth of Voldemort.

Rubeus Hagrid is like the stone Ruby. Red...warm. He's supposed to be the loving father Harry never had. His warmth gave comfort to Harry during his early age...much like the way we see our parent(or at least most of us). As we grow, that warmth is felt less as we see more the world than our parents.
Albus Dumbledore is like Light. White...clear. He's supposed to be the wise father Harry never had. His wisdom and presence gave comfort to Harry during his darkest times and gave him clarity during moments of uncertainty. As we grow old, we value wisdom more than warmth to survive adulthood.
Hagrid wasn't forced to the story. He was weaved in the story exactly the way he should be weaved - much less important to fight our battles but important enough for us to remember that Light comes with warmth.

I don't think it becomes an inconvenience.
I believe visiting Hsgrid is a safe place for Harry. As the story goes on, Harry becomes more troubled and he gets less time to visit Hsgrid.
I think Rowling did it on purpose because visiting Hsgrid was somewhat if a reprieve not just for Harry but the readers as well.

No that seems wrong. He is still involved in massive plot points (showing Harry the dragond, the Giants and Thestrals, Aragog's funeral). They see him a few times like before. Yes slmetimes it is in Care of magical creatues but so what? Why isn't it natural when Harry struggles to talk or not to talk to people in the end of Order of the phoenlx when one of the people he tries to talk to is Hagrid?

I think it shows Harry’s character very well. Harry goes out of his way to visit Hagrid, literally his first wizard friend, even after the point where he doesn’t need to anymore, and he has better wizard friends.
As a result, in a similar vein to characters like Filch, it shows Harry’s growth into an adult too. As he gets older and more important people and challenges come into his life, going of and visiting Hagrid isn’t as much of a priority anymore.
