Here in U.K. temps mean most bedding type plants have to be grown in heated propagators and later in greenhouses. Weβve had a very cold wet spring and summer has been no better so far temps around 13degC day and as low as 4degC night. My cosmos amongst others have really struggled and garden centres will be doing roaring business as people struggle to grow their own. Even hydrangeas are struggling and blooms are going to be late assuming we get some sun which in the last 2 weeks has been nil and forecast for next two weeks is cold and wet.
