That was a great analogy. When you only have a few pillars (let alone just one), their inevitable collapse is utterly devastating.
10 years ago, I had 4 pillars, and even that probably wasn’t enough. My long-time gf, our pet bunny, my childhood best friend, and a job that I loved. None of them are still in my life.
