I think it started out pretty weak, but it's improved. I still wouldn't call it GREAT, but it's not as bad as the online hatemongers want everyone to think it is.

I haven't seen it yet. But I think it is totally good to like something :) Also I think many people just hated it on principle before it came out (because women and non-white people and whatnot), so I think I'll just try it out and see if it connects with me and ignore reviews so far.
Edit: Also I think the amount of hate this thing gets before even released is ridiculous. Noone will forbid anyone from reading the book after all ...

I though it was great. I’m a huge L.O.T.R. fan & I loved it. Not sure why everyone what’s to hate on it so much. The more hate it gets the unlikely it will get more seasons or other shows.

I just watched it last night, Molly! I definitely started to enjoy it more in the second episode. The pacing seemed a bit off in the first episode, but it seems like the series is going to be great!

If you like it...cool. Everyone is allowed to like what they want. I love Peter Jacksons original trilogy but I simply have no interest in this show, mainly because I just don't think it looks that interesting, I may see it eventually but I'm not in any hurry. I don't have much knowledge of J.R.R Tolkiens work so i really can't agree nor disagree with anyone's assessments of the show good or bad, but if you like it, that's all fine and good.
