My Top 5 Lean Protein Sources To Lose Fat

When I’m trying to lose fat these are my 5 go to lean protein sources

Managing our hunger and cravings is key if we want to successfully lose fat.

Wherever I can I like to save calories to use for something I’ll enjoy more, like a big meal out or a sweet treat like peanut butter cups.

Here are my go-to protein options…

#1 is greek yogurt. It’s portable and I always have a variety on hand to hit any macros.

#2 is egg whites. Use them in an omelet to lower fat or add them to a fried rice to bump protein.

#3 is protein powder. Whole natural foods are key but this low calorie, portable option is helpful to have on hand and can allow me to work in more things I love like ice cream.

#4 is shrimp. Rich in micronutrients, you can grab cooked shrimp from the store as a snack.

#5 is ground turkey which you can get even 99% lean and use in burgers, tacos or on a salad.

Tweak your protein sources to lose fat and strike YOUR balance.

Egg yolks are no longer considered a bad fat and they do help you lose fat.

Ground bison instead of ground turkey has worked for me so far because it is high in iron. Thanks for such a great list!💜

Chill channel. I got into cooking heavy over quarantine and wish I documented some tips while I had the time. You’re doing gods work it’s insane how little some people know about basic food and nutrition. And I was once one of them

I do most of these things. Nearly passed out when i got up to feed my cat this morning. Sat on the floor and crawled to the fridge to drink some rice milk, so i could stand up.

We need to stop this diet shit.

Shrimp naturally has a lot of sodium and high in cholesterol which I’m monitoring my levels. Love shrimp though!

My biggest advice in terms of shit that slips through the cracks for anyone reading trying to lean out is - Watch your oil, it can make or break you and tbh step ur game up and just use spray to cook with and then maybe drizzle oil on top
