I read a blog trying to estimate cost of operating their ships. All but 2 smallest ship classes had estimate higher than that fine PER DAY. Icon at least might be around a million per day.

Lol, I believe this was a documentation error. Unloading waste could mean one of 2 things. Removal of trash from the ships or the dumping of sewage off shore. Bothe are legal but someone saying they dumped the sewage . Whatever instead of the legal point even if they were doing it where they were supposed to if it says wrongly on that paper then that is what is being fined. I have no doubt that they dump their sewage far enough out as the go that far out anyway! Why wouldn’t they dump it where allowed.
