I love Porthcawl ❤ used to stay at the St Clare Retreat House and walked the beach for miles. Happy memories. Though never saw such a large piece of driftwood 😄

Is this near the area where they discovered a preserved underwater forest from before the Younger Dryas event happened and sea levels rose wiping out Dogger Land? Just off the coast of Wales?
I remember seeing a video where loads of the tree trunks were temporarily exposed to the atmosphere and became visible. This looks like one of the corpses of the ancient forest.
