I think depends a lot on disc depth and hand size. I have very large hands and this grip doesn't feel comfortable on most discs for me.

I call that as a modified fangrip, i thought everyone does. I throw my putters, midranges and fairway drivers with that grip.

I throw Putters and mid fullon fan, kinda same way I putt. So easy grip and and controll. What ever works works.

Gannon power grips all his putters no matter what. It's subjective.

Climo called that a stack grip. It was a relief to see when i started because that was how i grief catch discs

I think it also matters if you're a push or a spin putter.

That's the old piranha, and I'm not saying that because it has the old circle stamp either, it's because it's the original mold piranha has the Thumtrac close to the edge like that 👍.
Innova decided to retool the piranha moving the Thumtrac slightly closer to the center, and basically ruined what we all love about the piranha 😕.
So Innova retire the newly retooled piranha and reintroduced it as the new retooled Birdie😂.
And as a result we lost the pre thumbtrac Birdie forever😟 thank God I still have 2 left 👍.
Innova still continues to make things more confusing than needs be!
At one point about 15 years ago people were throwing Pro Starfires and didn't realize that it was actually a totally different mold the "Starfire Long" aka the SL.

Grip is not universal bc Hand size is not universal finger length is not universal so this PSA is actually pretty terrible. Grip should always be what is most comfortable. some players throw a putter better with a power grip others fan grip etc. Gannon Buhr throws with a power grip. enough said right there

I'm one of best putter throwers at my course with 200+ members. And I use a fan grip. I only pinch with the fat pad by my palm, not my finger tip pads. I throw judges smooth about 275 or 300 with some height.

Just stop power gripping putters. I use a modified fan grip. Ffs if you're power gripping your putters then either your missing out big time or your part of the 1% that can throw them well with a power grip like Gannon Buhr. On the other hand Drew Gibson throws with a fan grip almost every time unless his throwing a distance driver and even then he often fan grips it and HE THROWS FAR.
