No, this is genuinely correct. When you have a bunch of distractions, a pause button is necessary. Not everyone has the luxury of gaming in peace. In her case its her kids, in my case its my cat.
I was 1 hit drom killing DLC final boss solo on my 1st run, wheny cat came and started asking for attention. I lost that attempt. A pause button would have won me that.
I still love prime consort, but the pause button is a genuinely important accessibility option that is bizzarely absent from most of the Fromsoft catalogue.

Ok but that’s a legitimate issue. If you have a kid and can’t pause the game it severely limits your enjoyment of the game. As someone who has put at least 500 hours into every souls game and easily 2000 into Elden ring I still have yet to hear anyone give a good explanation of why you shouldn’t be able to pause them. They’re video games. I know a lot of sweaty no-lifers will say that it “adds challenge” or whatever, but at the end of the day if you have to brag about being better than this woman at a video game you either need to touch grass or speak to a woman. I love these games but some of y’all in the community are so toxic for no reason lol.

She has a point tho, regardless of how badly she made it, there is literally no reasonable justification for why any single player game shouldn't have a pause button.

Saying having a kid is a disability feels rude and disrespectful to actual disabled people.
I do think a pause button would be nice though, since it is mostly a singleplayer game.

I have a 2 year old and theres nothing stopping me from putting the game down to look after him lmao. Its a game, i can always beat the boss again another time.
