Fellas keep in mind that we can study form until we are blue in the face, but the most important part of any exercise regime is intensity and consistency.

Pronated grip increases brachialis and brachioradialis activation, fixed elbow would increase tricep activation (especially at the top of the movement). As many have said already, decreasing bicep activation doesn’t necessarily increase lat activation, it shifts the workload to different muscles. In my opinion, if you seek pure lat isolation you probably should do some sort of pullover (even then there would be some degree of tricep activation)

I wish you would make a full body workout with the best exercise for each muscle.

Just means those changes lessened the bicep activation.. not increased the lat activation. I would suspect that the rear delt and even triceps activation with that path.

I would like to see the exact numbers of muscle activation. I mean just because one musclegroop has more activation than another does not mean more overall muscle activation. Keep up the good work! Love these videos!

Ryan's muscle targeting lifting series is hands down the best weight lifting content I've ever found on youtube. Thank you algorithm.

Ive always been split on this because on one hand, pronating the wrist decreases the biceps involvement. On the other hand, the more you can keep your elbow glued to your side, the more you keep the focus on the lat, rather than other parts of the back and its harder to keep your elbow glued to your side with a pronated wrist.

Ryan, i wish we livedin the same neighborhood or ventured the same gym. This is what i taught those i help in the gym. I took o. Those that mosttrainers refusedto work with. This is definitely a game changer knowing what position activate what muscle. Ive ventured on various movements and grips on myself to teach others the simplistic way of movements and execution. And by the way, you do a great job on whatyou share here. Its why i decidedto follow you. Keep up the good work nro.

Boss I wish you would do more like these. I've already watched all of these, but I wish you would do more to see each muscle group

Activation doesn't mean growth.. mechanical tension is the primary driver.

Man, i watched your video on getting a bigger back. The first day i did my lat pulls and rows the way you show i literally laughed out loud at the gym because the movement hit completely different. Been lifting for hears. This is now my workout.

The gap is irrelevant. All that matters is what activates the lat the most. You could conceivably decrease biceps activation and lat activation but have a larger gap.

If I can get 165 lat and 125 biceps, that would be awesome. Get a major training stimulus for both.
